What is Carbohydrate Intolerance/ Sensitivity?

As soon as a baby is weaned off breast milk carbohydrate intolerance/ sensitivity can occur. The little human has since conception been in ketosis including the time it was breast fed. Suddenly the body has a shock, carbohydrates and sugars are introduced. Babies cry regardless, but this may make your baby cry even more.

Carbohydrates and sugars are not a natural food for humans. Most people can tolerate it, however many people especially children react badly.

In children and juveniles these are common symptoms, however carbohydrate intolerance can start at any stage in your life -

  • Eczema
  • Acne
  • Teenage spots
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • ADHD
  • Bloated stomach
  • Fatigue
  • Psoriasis
  • Migraine

Clearly gluten intolerance goes hand in hand. At the clinic we will use the Hart Ketogenic Plan to get rid of your or your child's problems. Make an appointment now!

If you are a medical practioner or GP please consider how carbs and sugar can be detrimental to our bodies. Cutting down will not be sufficient and medicines always have side effects. Real food doesn't.

CONCLUSION
Cut out most carbs and ALL sugars from your diet. Only eat low GI carbs.
