This is an Autoimmune Disease which is TOTALLY avoidable
No one should have type 2 Diabetes, no one, it is totally self inflicted.
Those are harsh words. Millions of people suffer from type 2 ,maybe you too. We would like to stress, its not your fault!!! There is very little information out there about the consequences of over consumption of sugar and especially carbohydrates. The recommended intake by many governments are based on very old dietary information. They simply haven't kept up. Many doctors are still saying that type 2 diabetes is a chronic disease and cannot be reversed. This is so far from the truth. It can be reversed that is good news, but it also depends how far it has gone. Type 2 if left for a long time can turn into type 1, however before then you may have had to have toes or feet amputated, or you have gone blind.
Please don't let it go that far! You are dealing with a chronic, progressive disease, and if you're not on top of it, it will get on top of you very quickly.
It is of course due to over consumption of inflammatory foods - sugar and other carbs as well as omega 6. We eat foods today which weren't available some 10-30 years ago. Most food eaten today is processed, made and cooked by a factory or someone else. The amount of sugar used in food is frightening.
